#REAPER MEET UP

If the Reapers are expecting to be teleported into a shady corner by a ten year old again, they may be in for surprise. Instead, they'll wake suddenly, with their IC rulebook in their hand and open to a page in the back -- which contains a note that's only visible to them. "Reapers! Today's meeting will be at the IKEA restaurant at 7 AM sharp! There's coffee and snacks for everyone, so don't be late!" When they arrive at the IKEA restaurant, at 07:00, they'll find themselves walking into a private area of IKEA, with a door that closes and locks behind them once everyone is inside. The foreboding feeling usually present is missing entirely. And, true to form, there's comfortable seating, all manner of IKEA food, and beverages laid out for anyone and everyone to indulge in. Rather than the usual restaurant, the room is occupied by comfortable furniture from the showrooms. Once again, there's music looping forever. Try not to go insane. Already seated (and eating), is Maya Fey, very much alive, who enthusiastically waves them over as she shoves another forkful of meatballs into her mouth. "Hey guys! Host-kun said that people are able to re-form a Pact if they agree and it happens before Sunday, right?

Soooo.

Hypothetical situation. Let's say two of us Erase our Partners. Technically we could form the Pact with each other immediately after, right?

[ flips to his profile in the rulebook. ]

Would it show here, or can we invoke Reaper privilege to keep it quiet until something happens?

Yes --- and it will change in the profiles. But the thing is, Max is the only one who can form a new Pact. So, you need him, and chances are, it's gonna be Friday night or Saturday during trial, soooo, in front of everybody. [especially knowing how salty max is she doubts he'd want to throw players a bone if he doesn't have to]

So, yeah, technically you can Erase your own partners and make a new pact --- but there are a lot of risks that come with doing that.

Are we allowed to meet Max in private to do it? Let's say on Friday, but before trial.

I can ask him, but my feeling is that it's a big fat no.

And, I mean --- everyone's going to find out anyway. And if you try to keep it a secret, that's prooooobably gonna draw some suspicion on you, especially after your Partners both get Erased. Yanno?

Open the option to re-form Pacts on Friday nights to everyone, then.

Then there's no need for a secret. That's enough time after body discoveries for people to discuss among themselves whether they want to re-pact, ne?

It's convenient for us if it's out in the open. Just a coincidence that two Reapers would form a pact together, ne, Conductorcchi.

One thing you gotta keep in mind, though, if you guys do Pact together, if you get voted out, then both of you would be in trouble.

Okay, second question.

Let's say we decide on one Player collectively-- [ lion. ] --but let's say hypothetically I Erase someone else without telling everyone here.

... Does that show up as a Reaper kill or a Player kill?

Still a Reaper kill --- if they catch you instead of the other killer or killers. Max probably isn't going to admit to two even if asked directly.

But yeah, you could do it! But you'd have to do it totally on your own, and that includes without my help. Well, I'd be cheering you on in spirit! But yanno, no items or anything.
