Well, that sucked! That might be your first thought when you open your eyes to find yourself in a lavishly decorated room with a nice, soft bed. Or maybe you’re thinking about something else, it doesn’t really matter, since the only important thing right now is that you’re alive. Sort of. You’re still dead, but you also still exist, so that’s better than nothing. Whenever you decide to leave the room to venture out into the rest of the building, you’ll find that… hm. You sure have found yourself somewhere interesting, and there are plenty of places to explore. Foods from all of the weeks prior can be found in the hotel’s kitchen, as well as an entertainment center in the next room; just because you’re dead-dead doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun while the Reaper’s Game continues. Dare you try your luck with the ice cream machine in this weird place…? Or do you explore the mysterious board game that rests on the lobby’s table? Nothing’s stopping you. You’re absolutely able to leave the hotel, by the way. As soon as you step outside, you’ll find yourself in whatever area is currently open to the remaining Players for the current week. The only thing is, in addition to being invisible to the shadowy denizens of the RG... it seems you can’t interact at all with your fellow active Players in the UG, either. Weird! But that’s okay, you’re not totally alone in this limbo-squared! There are others around who you can interact with, and you might recognize them as the other people who have been Erased during the course of the game. In fact, there’s one rather special resident of this place... it’s none other than Dahlia Hawthorne. You might remember her as Utena Tenjou’s murderer from the first week! Upon seeing you, she smirks, welcoming you to the party. “Did you really think you'd seen the last of me? Welcome to the Under-Underground—the loser’s playground, a failure like the rest of us,” she taunts, swirling the teacup in her hand with an almost gleeful look in her eyes. Then, as if to preempt whatever the new arrivals wish to respond with, she rolls her eyes and adds, “The stupid name wasn’t my choice, by the way. [ Noct's streak of bad luck continues. just as he's suddenly forced back, he has to stare at a giant turtle's ass for all of five seconds before Madara runs away and Eleanor begins shooting force rounds into his general direction. ]

Seriously!? [ he says as he clambers to all fours, groaning at the thought of still having to secure what little life he has remaining. this whole thing begins to feel like a moot point after a while. ] Little more of a heads up before you start shooting at me next time, please!

[ it should be mentioned that he has his stupid fishing rod, too, even if teleportation won't help much in this situation. so what does he do?

he sits on his ass and casts his line right at the turtle, hoping to maybe catch the shell with his hook and pull at it by twisting at the reel. yes, he's seriously fishing right now. it'll distract the turtle long enough for Eleanor to get a good few shots in, at least? maybe? ]

[what the hell is even happening. not long after madara takes off and eleanor starts firing at the turtle with her force rounds, she just ducks to avoid getting hit because while she can't do much right now to help, chances are might need her later to heal them if they do get injured and things get worse]

[ Madara will be able to find... a trash can. And not much else. Welp. Noctfish can get the shell, but, uh, it's big enough that it's just going to yank Noct forward and try to take a bite. Better put those teleportation skills to use! ]

[ Eleanor, on the other hand, is the only one actually doing damage to it! It lets out an inhuman scream and shoots a stream of water towards her with hydrokinesis. ]

[ worth a shot. meanwhile i can barely contain myself at noctfish being used in a mod tag. thankfully he can take care of himself an not become noctfood?

since the search was fruitless and he's useless, he's gonna run back to the... hotel for now, sorry guys! reasons! he really doesn't want to leave everyone, but he's not gonna make it in time for the two potential disasters about to happen here, so. ganba. ]

[ so! madara has obtained one ranpo and they get over there. note that the teleportation will work on its user and whatever... or whoever that the user carries.

yes. to make this plan work, ranpo has to carry madara for at least a few seconds.

he's probably squawking in the thread below and still does all the way here, but the two will get to exactly where they need to be! as in right under the turtle Noise. ranpo is probably a little crushed because of this. the main point though is madara can do the thing. ]

[ with both his feet, madara kicks upward and fucking flips the turtle over onto its back. unsure if it can still hydrokinesis or the panic will mean more hydrokinesis for 'em all, but obviously for turtle-shaped bosses, their weak point is their stomach? ]

[ ranpo is absolutely suffering because of having to carry madara so when madara does his upward kick to try and flip the turtle over he's going to roll and then teleport out of the way so that he doesn't get into the fucking line of fire and he doesn't get into the line of the turtle's attacks.

but you know, since he's been using and abusing his psych, he's going to get to where Eleanor is and pick her up - arm around her waist carry, no big deal, just a little surprising, and then blink out of sight for a moment --

just for long enough to be able to drop her off somewhere where she's at a better vantage point for attack. ]

[ You know what, the mod didn't expect this development, so neither did the turtle, so I'll give you guys this one. Jesus christ.

Despite having two heads, the turtle still only got four legs, all of which are flailing about as it tries to right itself after that beautiful mistake.

With everyone but Madara out of its visual field, it lets loose two streams of hydrokinesis from both its mouths toward him. It's especially mad at him for flipping it over? Rude!! ]

[ She lets out a little yelp of surprise when Ranpo teleports her out of the way, but hey an advantage is an advantage.

She goes back to pelting the stupid fr*cking r*ptile with bullets. They're soft on the bottom right? She aims at its tummy. ]

Someone help the boy before he drowns!

[ look he deserves this? turtle flipping is very rude in reptile etiquette!

it's probably distracted by its anger at madara to aim at eleanor, which is good because again, she is their literal firepower here. congrats on the stress relief!

he just has to escape the water attacks! that's... much harder than it would seem when you get hit straight on by it. in fact it definitely knocks him down, or more like he slips trying to run and keep being a target/distraction. ]

[ he's doing his best here to keep water out of his face but yeah, not easy with two heads on a turtle. maybe if udagawa floods he can swim away (doubtful). ]

yeah he's going to attempt to bail madara out of being drowned by turtle hydrokinesis.

[ Eleanor's bullets pierce its soft belly, causing it to scream and thrash about even more. Keep attacking its weak point for massive damage!

Frustrated that it can't manage to flip back over, nor can it see its single attacker, it stops spewing water to try and snap at both Madara and Ranpo. Luckily for the Players, its necks can only stretch so far... even so, the head trying to chow down on Ranpo manages to snatch his hat right off his head. ]

Ah— this is a little sad, I have to admit.

[ She feels bad for the turtle? But also maybe it shouldn't have talked shit in shadow people form?

Anyway she doesn't stop firing, but the pace of her bullets slows as she comes down from her vantage point to get closer to it now that its immobilized.

She doesn't have any hats to steal so it should be fine right? ]

[ ranpo please! he can't be carried by the detective again in these conditions, but his support in coming to madara's rescue and dragging him helps in a way. ]

I guess... Woah, hey!

[ oh no, ranpo's hat! i cannot believe it's the true casualty of the uug here, but we're gonna cut our losses as madara ducks and pulls ranpo away by the shoulders. it can't spew as water like this, so... escape? ESCAPE. also in the moment take your knife back, ranpo, you can avenge your bungou stray cabbie or something when the moment's right. madara did a cool thing, ranpo can maybe later, since he's using teleportation so much. he slips it back to him as they get out of harm's way ]

[ for fuck's sake this is going to be a Mess, as far as ranpo is concerned so like, I don't know, rip hat as he rolls them both out of the way and thankfully they don't crash into a trash can at this point?

but yeah, once madara is at least out of the way of danger for the moment he absolutely will grab his knife back, and because he's a Reckless Shounen Pseudo Protagonist he's going to teleport closer to the flailing turtle and slice at where the shell is connected to the turtle's body.

... the shell should pop off like a lid, tbh, but just for good measure he'll wait for a window where Eleanor is in between shooting at the turtle to fucking stab it in the neck before teleporting out again

this is such a game breaking psych and he's not sorry. ]

Let's skip any unnecessary gore and just say y'all successfully killed the Noise dead. Ranpo's final stab is what seals the deal. As soon as he removes the knife, the turtle seemingly explodes, unleashing one final torrent of water. The force of the sudden flood can be enough to knock the Players into the walls if desired, but even if they manage to escape bodily harm, they'll just end up really, really soggy. Like, worse than cereal that's been left soaking in a half inch of milk for two hours because you left really quick to go to the grocery store to grab another carton only to forget it was Super Bowl weekend and so the lines were triple the length you'd normally expect them to be. This isn't a real life experience that ruined the last time I had Frosted Flakes, what are you talking about.
