Well, that sucked! That might be your first thought when you open your eyes to find yourself in a lavishly decorated room with a nice, soft bed. Or maybe you’re thinking about something else, it doesn’t really matter, since the only important thing right now is that you’re alive. Sort of. You’re still dead, but you also still exist, so that’s better than nothing. Whenever you decide to leave the room to venture out into the rest of the building, you’ll find that… hm. You sure have found yourself somewhere interesting, and there are plenty of places to explore. Foods from all of the weeks prior can be found in the hotel’s kitchen, as well as an entertainment center in the next room; just because you’re dead-dead doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun while the Reaper’s Game continues. Dare you try your luck with the ice cream machine in this weird place…? Or do you explore the mysterious board game that rests on the lobby’s table? Nothing’s stopping you. You’re absolutely able to leave the hotel, by the way. As soon as you step outside, you’ll find yourself in whatever area is currently open to the remaining Players for the current week. The only thing is, in addition to being invisible to the shadowy denizens of the RG... it seems you can’t interact at all with your fellow active Players in the UG, either. Weird! But that’s okay, you’re not totally alone in this limbo-squared! There are others around who you can interact with, and you might recognize them as the other people who have been Erased during the course of the game. In fact, there’s one rather special resident of this place... it’s none other than Dahlia Hawthorne. You might remember her as Utena Tenjou’s murderer from the first week! Upon seeing you, she smirks, welcoming you to the party. “Did you really think you'd seen the last of me? Welcome to the Under-Underground—the loser’s playground, a failure like the rest of us,” she taunts, swirling the teacup in her hand with an almost gleeful look in her eyes. Then, as if to preempt whatever the new arrivals wish to respond with, she rolls her eyes and adds, “The stupid name wasn’t my choice, by the way. As if I’d choose something that dumb to preside over.” ![]() private conversations ☠ murder proposals ☠ money full nav |

It's like being pulled away from them without saying a proper goodbye or apology, right? That's true suffering... I miss their company too.
[ it's a bit weird and sudden to just take off his hand like this... it's on the side of her cheek as she's wiping her tears. he'll catch a missed one with his thumb. ]
Remember how unsociable and inelegant you said were? But you made friends anyway-- I'm happy for you.

And even in a situation like this, you still somehow know exactly what to say.
[ She hugs him again. ]
There are many still there who are good people— I want to help them. I don't want what happened to us to happen to them.

[ looks to the side, other hand curled against his cheek in a semi-concerned way that would make Arashi proud. but then he gets the hug. he doesn't refuse, but that sort of wish... ]
Eleanor-san... How would you describe a "good person"? Please, don't name examples that I would know. I just want to pass the time.
[ eleanor, your sleepover friends either tried to kill him, helped in killing him, or flat-out killed him. he doesn't want her to pick sides, but he can still be a bit upset. they got away. ]
I can do many things, but I am far from a good person. So...
[ he'll get comfy in hell here. ]

[ She shakes her head, resolute, and serious in the fact that she won't fault him for his choices. ]
And it is not my place to ask anything from you. Truthfully.. I never had any intentions of winning this game for myself. I have lived my life, and if I've failed yet again in my goals then I have no right to mourn what was never mind. But..
[ She doesn't blame him for being mad. But there are others too— Shinssin, Mary, Lenka.. ]
If happiness is attainable for any of the others, I want to help them achieve it.

Good. Surely we can do that while we're here. I don't have the most conventional means of helping others find happiness, I'm warning you beforehand. But, my track record is pretty good.
[ madara will lean a little more into the hug, holding her tighter. he knows those still alive that he liked, who were pleasant to him and engaged with his antics. mary too, akira, izaya even. Shinssin's entertaining as well, that can't be denied either. he had a lot of fun. ]
A person who's complacent with death because of what they couldn't accomplish should live again, honestly. Live happily, then embrace death because you are ready for it. Fighting it is kind of enjoyable, too! But not for everyone.
[ very, very gently tugging on a pigtail. ]

[ She pulls away, drying the last of her tears, very much amused despite how water-logged she is. She bats at his hand, pretending the tug hurts more than it does. ]
I truly can't decide— whether or not you were a hero or a villain. Everything you say is equal parts inspirational and frightening.
[ But she like's that about him, as unnerving as it is. ]
