#GRAVEYARD
Well, that sucked!

That might be your first thought when you open your eyes to find yourself in a lavishly decorated room with a nice, soft bed. Or maybe you’re thinking about something else, it doesn’t really matter, since the only important thing right now is that you’re alive. Sort of. You’re still dead, but you also still exist, so that’s better than nothing.

Whenever you decide to leave the room to venture out into the rest of the building, you’ll find that… hm. You sure have found yourself somewhere interesting, and there are plenty of places to explore. Foods from all of the weeks prior can be found in the hotel’s kitchen, as well as an entertainment center in the next room; just because you’re dead-dead doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun while the Reaper’s Game continues. Dare you try your luck with the ice cream machine in this weird place…? Or do you explore the mysterious board game that rests on the lobby’s table? Nothing’s stopping you.

You’re absolutely able to leave the hotel, by the way. As soon as you step outside, you’ll find yourself in whatever area is currently open to the remaining Players for the current week. The only thing is, in addition to being invisible to the shadowy denizens of the RG... it seems you can’t interact at all with your fellow active Players in the UG, either. Weird!

But that’s okay, you’re not totally alone in this limbo-squared! There are others around who you can interact with, and you might recognize them as the other people who have been Erased during the course of the game. In fact, there’s one rather special resident of this place... it’s none other than Dahlia Hawthorne. You might remember her as Utena Tenjou’s murderer from the first week! Upon seeing you, she smirks, welcoming you to the party.

“Did you really think you'd seen the last of me? Welcome to the Under-Underground—the loser’s playground, a failure like the rest of us,” she taunts, swirling the teacup in her hand with an almost gleeful look in her eyes. Then, as if to preempt whatever the new arrivals wish to respond with, she rolls her eyes and adds, “The stupid name wasn’t my choice, by the way. As if I’d choose something that dumb to preside over.”

... It isn't terrible, but I believe you are mistaken. I fear nothing I've done in this game has been impressive enough to warrant complimenting.

[Caren is truly a little exhausted after the events of this entire week, and seeing how many of them are here now, trying to win from the inside out instead of the other way around, she feels strange taking any praise for the actions she's taken.]

I'm pleased to see you around again, Lion Ushiromiya.

[Honestly, it's a feeling Lion is definitely familiar with. They've had enough time here to dwell on how little they were able to impact anything. Because of that, they won't press it for now. Even if they did, she probably won't be able to accept it.]

I wish we were seeing each other on different terms but... it would be dishonest of me to pretend I'm not a little happy to be able to talk to you. It isn't much of an after-afterlife but I'd be glad to keep company with you here now.

Thank you. I am looking forward to speaking with you more, as well. I'd be interested to hear what your perspective on things has been, seeing as you were able to witness what happened today.

[That surprises her, somehow, even if she knew the dead were present somewhere as souls, capable of understanding enough to manipulate that whiteboard. Caren extends her hand to Lion to offer them a delicate, light-fingered shake.]

Circumstances may be different here, but I doubt there will be much time to rest, seeing as how worked up the remaining players are.

[It pleases them and Lion shakes her hand with a smile.]

Yes, we'll have to see if any chances to affect things will come to us soon. I should hope so but we'll see. But yes, I suppose at least being dead made it easy to observe happenings I might have otherwise not been part of. From my perspective... I feel the game has been unfair. I'm not sure if I can easily put that feeling into reasons, though.

Unfair? [She presses her hand to her chin in thought.] If I had to weigh what befell me against the crime, I'd conclude the consequences were what why should have been. I'm not sure the same could be said for other pieces on the board.

I'll wait for you to rationalize your thoughts; it's possible we'll have the time to speak about it later. Instead: Surely your voyeuristic advantage let you see some entertainment?
