[ Between one blink and the next, Setz will suddenly find himself in a greenhouse. If he tries looking outside its glass windows, he'll notice that there is a strange haze that makes it impossible to tell the exact location, but the interior of the greenhouse is fairly bright, as if sunlight was shining through.

Everything in it seems fairly normal. There is a variety of plants, but primarily roses, as well as a small outside garden table. Still, strangely enough, there's also a... kotatsu? Well. Okay. ]

Setz blinks a few times, trying to regain his bearings—and then he looks over at Anthy, halfway between confused and neutral.

[ it's fine, the dog has eaten fingers so ice cream is good. ]

[ she takes a longer moment to actually respond to the question. ]

I will say that if this Game ran normally, I would have no issue with simply reviving everyone. However, it is actually very rare for a Composer to just bring back all of the Erased, regardless if they won or not. If a Composer started to just grant everyone second chances then people may start to gossip that they aren't very fit for their role as a judge.

But I do think, because this game is so abnormal, everyone involved should be given that.

And I don't suppose you can just tell me what makes this game so abnormal, or do I have to keep making guesses?

You and the Conductor are both trying to prove something. Another entity—not Reaper-class—is involved, in the sense that they're testing something, and it's connected to why this abnormal Game exists. However, they do not have direct interference with its progress.

... Were you corresponding with them? Max wasn't sure if you ever actually read their letter.

[Let's just say he wrote down a copy because I was having him paraphrase what he remembered and then decided that was way too much effort.

They have. He's been very annoyed by it.

... It was a response to something I wrote. I was being turned down.

The Games I normally run are not like this. I am personally not too fond of pitting people against each other, but that comes from my prior experience before I became a Composer. But because of the current circumstances, I had to go... extreme, I suppose is a way to say it.
