The Composer’s direct subordinate and overall lackey is the Conductor. “Yeah, I know.” Shut the fuck up and let me finish. The Conductor is the Composer’s representative, giving out orders to Reapers in their stead, etc, etc, if you know any music terms it’s all obvious. What’s less obvious is the Conductor usually falls in two categories: the most dedicated and loyal to the Composer… or the least. Conflicts between Conductors and Composers are common. When they’re not resolved with the brutal and immediate erasure of one of the parties involved, they’re resolved with a Game between both of them. Because being Reaper-class means being as extra as possible at any given time, I guess. I don’t know. Traditions are fucking stupid. The most extravagant and important Games that have been played are, as far as I know, always personal ones between a Composer and someone else. This isn’t any different. As judge of this particular conflict, I propose we fucking consider not solving everything with a Game and just like, vote on it or some shit. Talk it out. Communication should not be this hard when you’re this fucking old and all-powerful, people.
