week 2, wednesday
[ For whatever reason, three Players have found their way in front of the live house in A-East. Maybe you were just passing by, or maybe you were curious about the building, but what matters is that right now the front door is wide open. That was definitely locked before, wasn't it? From outside the entrance, the inside of the building just looks... dark. Then again, most places are when the light isn't on, so that's not too unusual.
Perhaps you should take a look inside? ]

she remembers actually walking by the place before definitely noticing that it was locked before since it was the only place that seemed off limits to explore. she spots eleanor and setz come to a stop near the now open door for similar reasons to her because of how odd it was.
she looks at the building with slight caution, if clarke were anyone else then she would think nothing of it but something just seems off to her. it takes her a moment before she turns to look towards them to ask their thoughts on the matter] Hey— this was definitely locked before, wasn't it?
no subject
Yeah, it definitely was...
[Good or bad sign? Probably bad, given what this place is like. Still, it's curious.]

[ she peeks her head in, and then after a moment she steps into the building— hands out in front of her as she feels her way forward. She remembers what the others had told her they’d found in Wildkat, which had also been locked and— ]
It may be worth our while to investigate.

she still finds herself feeling uncertain when eleanor steps inside and suggests that they investigate. there's a part of her that doesn't think it's worth but if the other two are going in, she almost feels obligated to go just to make sure they're okay] I don't know— it feels like it could be dangerous but if we're going inside we should stick together.
no subject
Not to mention—]
If we ignore it, someone else is inevitably going to check it out anyway. [...] If things get dangerous, I can try and teleport us out of there.

Once they're inside, they will notice... not much, actually. It's completely dark to the point that the only way they could really see each other is if they' stay very closely together. That, however, isn't the most unusual thing. As soon as all three of them step foot in the building, all sound from outside suddenly cuts off, leaving them in silence. ]

But foolhardy by nature and a little overzealous from the knowledge of what her friends had found the week before in the last locked building, she proceeds further in, trying to feel for something solid. ]
Agreed, there's clearly something to be found here, and if there isn't we can just leave.
[ the door is right there after all, this is no Ikea ]
There has to be a light switch somewhere.
no subject
Let's hope the light isn't broken...
[He follows after Eleanor, not wanting to be too far away from the others in case they do need to teleport, for whatever reason.]

[ The music makes her jump. She feels a little like a kid in a cliche haunted house. But the surprise wears off her she's (perhaps stupidly) unafraid once more. Far more concerned with finding out where it is and what it leads to. ]
If this is all some sort of poor joke by that foul-mouthed host, I swear—!
[ She's marching forward towards the sound, best place to start right? It's probably playing from some audio system, and inevitably that would lead them to a wall and a light switch. ]
Follow if you want or stay by the door— this shouldn't take too long.

[Setz happens to be against heading in the direction of suspicious music playing, and so, after shooting Clarke a worried look, he runs after Eleanor in an attempt to grab her—or to the best of his ability, that is, considering the dark.]
no subject
Eleanor! Just slow down, we're coming with you.

The song suddenly skips a beat, like a CD that has a scratch on it. After the interruption, it continues on like normal, only for it to skip again. If Eleanor listens carefully, she may hear her name being said during the short seconds where the music stops. It’s neither Serz’s or Clarke’s voices. ]

[ Setz is closest to her, so she reaches back for him on instinct, one hand curling around his wrist. ]
My name, it's my name!
[ She listens closer, trying to decipher who it is and where it's coming from. The other two have warned her to not stray too far but— ]
I'm going to follow it, leave without me if you want to.
no subject
Still—]
We're not going to just abandon you in here!

As soon as Clarke finishes speaking, Eleanor will hear it again, more urgently this time. It’s a woman’s voice, quiet enough that if it wasn’t speaking every time the music skipped, it would be hard to miss: “What have you done?”
At the same exact time, Setz hears a sob that on the verge of hysterical. ]

[ She snaps at them, just a little bit. It was eerie, yes, but nothing worth extreme concern. Her tunnel vision has set in and all she can think about is Wildkat and how fortunate the others had been in there. If there's something to be found they have to find it!
And then of course there's the voice— it just adds to her annoyance. ]
Who is that?
[ Clarke and Setz's concerns fall on deaf ears. She wants to follow the voice, she wants to make it answer to her. ]
no subject
Setz would argue that they're both concerned because this entire situation is ominous enough to be better safe than sorry, and Setz is thinking that as a freaking vampire, but instead, what he says is:]
What are you even heari—
[—He freezes.]
... What was...?

For Setz, the sobbing continues, growing loud enough that it’s almost as if someone is screaming in his ear.
And Eleanor will just hear the voice again, still as softly as the first time: “You aren’t strong.” ]
no subject
She's screaming now, eyes wide even though she can't see anything through the dark. ]
Who are you? Why do you think— why do you know that.
no subject
[Setz winces, pressing a hand against his ear in an attempt to block out the sobbing, before he glances in Clarke's direction.]
I hear someone crying—I don't know what's with Eleanor!
[He doesn't even wait to finish the sentence before he chases after Eleanor. In the dark like this, they can't afford to be separated.]
