![]() When it hits 07:00, the Reapers are probably expecting to be teleported into a shady corner to meet up with the Host again. It does not go quite like that though. Between one blink and the next, they will suddenly find themselves teleported from wherever they just were and to what seems to be a greenhouse. Strangely enough, if they peek through its various windows, none of the outside landscape looks familiar. What seems to be sunlight can sort of be made out in the distance, but there is a peculiar haze that makes figuring out how far away they are from it difficult. Despite this fog, the actual interior of the greenhouse is fairly brightly sunlit. They'll also notice a song playing from invisible speakers. At the table, there seems to be ingredients for making what seems to be... spaghetti? Anthy is seated at the kotatsu this time. How cozy! "Good morning, everyone. Shall we get started?" ![]() game info ☠ setting ☠ statuses ☠ ic profiles private conversations ☠ murder proposals ☠ money full nav |

I'm afraid Max couldn't make it this time. I brought Nanami as a substitute for him.
[ anthy no one here will understand the joke please let nanami live
everything else will be directed to the group as a whole: ]
I'm afraid that from now on, you may only check only Player instead of two. I was able to let you do two last week, but that was admittedly a little bit of cheating on my part. But I shouldn't bend the rules of this Game too much. I apologize.
[ in other words, catching two maf in week 1 has the mods sweating ]

Thanks for the spaghetti ingredients, Miss Composer!

Thanks for feeding us every time.
[And now with that out of the way, time to get to business.]
Terra said that the reapers were getting their assignments from the Composer - I'm guessing he's lying, or...is it possible the Conductor is calling themselves the Composer to the reapers?
no subject
In a normal situation, the Conductor would be the one who would be dealing with the Reapers. You all probably would have never even met me if things went like they were supposed to. So, it is possible that the Conductor is simply pretending like their orders are mine. Or, like you said, maybe the Conductor is flat out pretending to be me. Those Reapers may not even be aware that they are in the midst of a coup.
[ ... ]
Or he could be lying. Who knows!

CHECK
EDOGAWA RANPO
RESULTS
there's a moment of silence before she pockets the pin again. ]
Edogawa Ranpo [ and not conan like i originally typed ] is a Reaper. Congratulations again. Just like before, you cannot make any move to personally Erase him this week.
Raw Deets Report
Caren also reported this note to me. From what I could tell, her report matched with Monika's. Where she gave me exact wording, it was the same.
Monika herself has become pretty devoted to me, so even if you lose either me or Jacopo, we won't lose that piece. She has cleared Eleanor as having a pin that seems to be a rotating tool for Players to help them in the game. That was the source of her hint this week. Eleanor had this pin prior and use it to check Chuuya's role; according to her report to Monika, he is clear. One among Magnus and Taako has the pin this week and approached Monika over it. She says they got it together, but I'm dubious about the rules being stretched in such a way. Either way, we can assume at least one of those two at least is a Player.

I thought this might be a modified Hide and Seek, but...nice to see it's been verified.
[...]
So Eleanor's a Player, and either Magnus or Taako are fine...And Chuuya as well?
[Hmm...]
Well, that at least narrows the list down some.
SUSPECTS?
If there are other parties to bring forward or any other evidence, that will be important for making our decision also.

There's a harsh scowl at that.]
I'll watch Akira, but I don't think he's a Reaper - but I admit I might be biased about that.
Actually...I'm a little worried about one of his friends - Niijima Makoto. I was talking to her last night, and when I mentioned the next reaper kill, she quickly said that she didn't think the next kill would be a Reaper one. Her logic about why is pretty sound, but...it might be worth keeping an eye on her, too.
I do agree that Edogawa seems kind of weird - isn't he supposed to be a detective or something?

RESULT DISCUSSION
Hah, they're not great at this, are they? Although I don't think we should count on them slipping up again in the future.
At this point, I think we need to consider how we're going to do this. Obviously, we could kill one and frame another, or simply kill both and rely on the confused evidence to help disguise. Alternatively, we can wait for them to kill and start pushing for them at trials so we can pick off their numbers. And of course, we could simply walk up to them and kill them if we like.
However, there are benefits to keeping them alive. In trials, their words and actions can help us determine what may be a blind alley to go looking down. Further, they'll have been spending time with their fellow Reapers for two weeks now. If we're mindful of who their attachments may be, we might gain clues as to the identities of the remaining enemy Reapers.
What do you think, everyone?

[She's getting bored playing the waiting game. The benefit of being a child is that almost everyone seems to trust her and want to protect her, but not many people have been exactly confiding. She wants to plaaaay, she wants to play!!!]
So we can keep them alive for a little longer...buuuut we should be careful, too. How do we know that they're not gonna catch on and start looking for us, too? You snooze you lose!

...I'm going to say this point blank - out of the two of them, I think Junko is the bigger threat here.
[He'll explain, too -]
I mean, we've all seen how she acts. Leaving her alive just to gain information from her is a big risk - especially since she's so unhinged, but she's also pretty damn smart. I think it won't take someone like her much longer to figure out the identity of one of us - and with the way she practically enjoys seeing people die, I don't doubt she'll make it as painful as possible.
[...]
I'd normally want to hold off on this too, but...I don't think we can.

Hah! These brainless rats have made themselves far too obvious. This game is meant to be a challenge, is it not? [ wine sip. ] Junko is, unfortunately, an efficient distraction during trial. The woman is also absolutely unhinged, therefore establishing her as more of a threat. It's been reported that our Players have begun to suspect her — meaning taking her out during trial won't pose too much trouble.
Ranpo, however, appears to have friends. I'd rather not be barred by another Player's feelings and attachment, so he'll simply have to be done away with next week — we can't allow the Players to grow too attached to him, after all.
